anyone else seen the johnny cash film "walk the line"?

just finished watching johnny cash's life story walk the line. it was really good. quite a sad life in some respects, ie his dad wasnt particularly nice to him and his brother died when they were kids.
such a good film. anyone else think so?

Yes, and it was eerie that Joaquin Phoenix looked and could sing just like him. In an interview, he said he had never sung before but that a voice coach helped him on the set. Very good movie.

Ya I saw it. That movie was really good. I have got to say its one of my favorite movies now. Joaquin Pheonix did a really good job in that movie and so did Reese Witherspoon. My favorite part has got to be when Johnny Cash proposes to June in that movie. I would give that movie 100 thumbs up and 100 stars.

yeah it is a good film, my mum prefers it though (older person film).. he did lead a sad life, i found it interesting that when june carter died johnny cash died just a few months later.. i guess he died of a broken heart.. and Joaquin Phoenixs acting and singing in that film was outstanding, as was reese wetherspoon, he should have gotten an OSCA too

FANTASTIC film. I thinkits greatthat his son was able to capture a part of his life beyond his career. I know when it came out his children from his first marriage thought John Carter Cash made their mother look like a harpee, but I think its a great spin on the traditional rock star flick.

I loved the film. I'm not a great fan of Johnny Cash, but I do have a lot of respect for him. He endured a lot in his life, and he's one of the few celebs who didn't forget where he came from.
