I have not watched most of the mini series, I began it but stopped because the acting was pretty bad. I'll watch it again someday, though.

1. The book. I feel like it was more powerful and well done, and the movie didn't get exciting to me until the very end.

2. I'd have to say the Kubrick film, since the mini series' actors made me stop watching it.

3. The novel.

4. Can't really say until I watch the entire mini series.

5. Again, can't really say, but I'm sure the book is much better.

the Novel is always going to be better because Stephen King's novels never translate well into movies, with the Shining and Christine and the Dead Zone being the exceptions.
