Have seen Hot Fuzz twice now (last nite and Thursday nite). It's absolutely brilliant. Shaun of the Dead was a great intro but this is a an evolution of the style. They've pushed the boat out a bit more re the swearing and all the in-jokes vis-a-vis Bad Boys and Point Break. Extremely funny, laugh out loud film. Simon Pegg is the brilliant straight guy to Nick Frost and the script/situations.

Definitely Shaun of the Dead, best zom-rom-com ever.

Hot Fuzz is good but falls down near the end, another film that would have improved with twenty minutes shaved off the ending. Still better than a lot of the trash out at the moment.

I loved Shaun of the dead but thought Hot Fuzz just awful. I left after one hour, it was just not funny at all. It just keeps missing the mark of what is funny and what is not.
