yeah its definitely real although the actors doing the sex are porn stars, the main actors Malcolm McDowell and Helen Mirren didnt do any real sex scenes, actually the director put the sex scenes in after they shot the movie, some of the actors were pretty cheesed off that they had been tricked into starring in a XXX rated movie as back then it was really bad for an actors career to be associated with porn in any way.
