I saw a movie where everything was black and white. People didn't feel emotion. As the movie progressed people started to feel emotion and as they would feel emotion the movie would gain a little more color

Pleasantville (1998) with Tobey Maguire, Jeff Daniels and Joan Allen
"A brother and sister from the 1990s are sucked into their television set and suddenly find themselves trapped in a 1950s style television show. Here they have loving parents, old fashioned values, and an overwhelming amount of innocence and naivete. Not sure how to get home, they integrate themselves into this "backwards" society and slowly bring some color to this black and white world. But as innocence fades, the two teens begin to wonder if their 90s outlook is really to be preferred."

The film that comes to mind is called 'PLEASANTVILLE', and was released in 1998. It starred Toby McGuire (Spider man), Reese Wither spoon (Walk the Line','Legally Blonde', 'Water for Elephants')
Jeff Daniels '(Paper Man', 'Dumb and Dumber', 'Speed') and Joan Allen ('The Borne Ultimatum','The Borne Supremacy') and was directed by Gary Ross.

only movie ive seen that sorta has this is pleasantville.
though i think it starts out in color, then goes blaxk and white when they get sucked into the tv show and as the people start to feel emotion and such, the color slowly seeps in.
