I do not see the connection, but I haven't really given it much thought to give you a precise answer. I do, however, see a connection in "The Matrix" and the "Men in Black." When I talk to others, surprisingly so, they understand. Its at the very end of each movies that makes this connection. The "Matrix", scene, "Freedom and Sunlight," the Oracle and the little girl" are setting on a park bench over looking the city with the Sun shining everywhere. The Architect, walks over to the Oracle and they talk. The Oracle asks the Architect, if he is going to keep his promise. The Architect replies,"Yes, I am not human." The very end of "Men in Black" when the two Aliens are playing marbles, using the world, planets, stars, etc as their marbles, gave me a feeling of very little self worth as a human. Which when the Architect, said "he was not human", made me feel the very same way. It left a feeling of insignificant value, that connected the two movies together. There are lots of chat rooms and if you own the first "Matrix", you should ber able to find these room and web events on the enhancement DVD. The Wachowski Brothers" rule" in Science Fiction movies when they wrote this. I hope in the future we will see more of their brain works brought to films. Its been discussed in the chat rooms, that "Demolition Man, Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome, Outland, The Road Warrior and Soldier, are a affliate to the "Matrix". The "Matrix" is amongist the greatest sci-fic movie ever written, in my opinion.
