Do you think the theme of the film I,Robot will ever become a reality?

To program AI that works as well as it does in the movie is next to impossible right now, and I think it will remain so, just because the conditions that need to be set forth for that kind of thinking is too complex for human creation.

Its only a matter of time. AI has progessed by leaps and bounds in the past decade. Whether or not its a good idea is the real question. Will robots have rights? I have many friends who are entering into the world of AI and there is no doubt that it is possible.

Me personaly i dont think so becouse every computer and robot are programed on set rules and no matter how hard they may try they wont be able get past that main programing becouse they have nothing else besides that programing to go by in terams of thinking capasity. even AI has boundrys becouse it can know every thing but dose not have the programing to use and create somthing new.

It would be nice to have robots help out, but not to attack their owners.
