You all might have read about the movie2k/eu has been shut down due to licensing issues. One such site which strongly criticizes the actions of the MPAA is Torrentfreak. Torrentfreak is a blog dedicated to reporting the latest news and trends on the BitTorrent protocol and file sharing, and reported that the block on Movie2k website was at the request of the Motion Pictures Association of America (MPAA) and was being honored by Internet service providers (ISPs) in the UK as well as a number of mobile Internet providers as well, including Virgin Media.



The MPAA received the court order after arguing that the Movie2K and Download4All broke the UK's Copyright, Designs and Patents Act by offering the ability to download or stream latex releases.

Any number of free media activists have spoken up about blocks against copyrighted media, letting the MPAA know their blocks are in vain. As we know, PirateBay, another source of copyright-infringing materials, has been blocked in the past by entertainment companies' copyright rules, yet even now if you know where to look, PirateBay is still accessible and existent. Guys,last night i was luring around on internet and decide to watch movies.So I went to the website and found that it was just the usual and found that The Hangover 3 was been filmed and put it on the internet.Well I didn't watched the second part so i go with the second part.It was good to watched it until to the end.Then i saw the time it was 11:00pm.Then i tried the part 3 movie,but all it showed was i needed HDVidCodec and so i downloaded it.It didn't work.Then I saw that I was needed to update the latest Adobe Flash Player.But i didn't update it.

This is my story,I can't tell what happen or why but maybe they or the authorities or some people shut down this and the other website because the creator of the the website is cheating and it is illegal to record a new movie release and post on a website.Yeah, it has original movies that the movies were not recoreded but were filmed in the movies.Such as a original movie is a HD movie and were filmed by the creator of the movie.



So I guess just keep finding the solution to go in the website and everything is just fine or you can keep finding websites that are not illegal so that it won't shut down.

Probably raided... which is STUPID because 99 percent of the users might have viewed/streamed movies online (including some new in theatre movies) but the bulk of people were merely watching TV shows and OLDER movies.



They were NOT copying them, but just watching them as they would do if they watched the movies on TV or by borrowing a copy from a library or from a friend.



ALL that happens when sites such as this get shut down is that people are now MORE likely to illegally DOWNLOAD AND KEEP movies versus just watching them.



What studios need to do is just allow us to watch content for $100 a year or something and see all the new release movies at home and old archival shows, or do more Netflix type of stuff with older movies for 8-12 bucks a month.

It's because it's you're network, it did it with me it said virgin media has blocked this site and it looks like sky has done it as well. The proxy server worked the other day except now it has been shut down as well.
