what are some good movies to own?

I'm ordering some used DVD'S over on amazon and wondering if there are any good movies you recommend. So far I have
Primal Fear
Stand by me
The sixth sense


No horror. Not that I'm not a fan but I tend to have an overactive imagination hahhaha. :P
Nothing released before the 80's. Just not into those type. I tend to like 90-modern.
No extremely inappropriate comedy type. I find those to be very idiotic and annoying.
No full on romance where the entire film is based on that one genre; titanic and the notebook are my exceptions.
