ever time someone asks for a good disney movie they get the usual, cinderella, beauty and the beast, snow white, aladen... etc. but im looking for non animated disney movies. like with people and not drawings or cartoon characters. It makes me furious when i look for good disney movies and all i get is people answering the questions with snow white, aladen, cinderella, and all those movies that the world knows for a long time now, they were like the first disney movies, i want to know whay movies there are that do not have little characters running around, no drawings. Just humans!

Does this include Pixar, it isn't technically a Disney Animation Production, but it is Disney. Wall-e is my Favorite, Pixar film. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney Movie. I am a bigger fan of 2D animation because I find it more expressive, But my Favorite Non-Non no connection to Disney Animated movie is How To Train Your Dragon Despite not having anything in common with the books, and having a very predictable story. the film is breathtaking, in fact some of the scenes are Breathtaking, did any one see this in I Max. Holy crap, it was like I was really flying. It is so well paced and so well shot, any problems with the story I had are forgotten. But I also should mention. Kung Fu Panda 2 While the first one was just a cool fun movie with a few emotional scenes the second was loud, exciting, dramatic, funny, emotional, Touching all at the same time. I lie how it also incorporates a lot of Kung Fu Philosophy

I'm never sure about non-family Disney movies. but I know several good family (non-animated) Disney movies. They made several good versions of classics in the 50s and 60s:

Swiss Family Robinson

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Treasure Island

Pollyanna (I think that was a book first)

others:

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Child of Glass

The Parent Trap

Freaky Friday (original 60s)

For the Love of Willa Jean (if you find this, consider yourself lucky. it's impossible to find. but i know several people who remember it fondly and are also upset they can't find it. it's about two boys trying to steal a watermelon.)

The Misadventures of Merlin Jones

The Monkey's Uncle

The Love Bug

Mary Poppins

Summer Magic

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

The Absentminded Professor (60s)

Sorcerers Apprentice was a really good movie in my opinion. :) [Even though it was made by Disney]

There are no "good" ones that aren't animated.
