The $8 plan is for 1 DVD at a time or online only (computer,Xbox,or other compatible devices). They have a 28 day wait on new releases. Its ok for a month or so if you do the online then everything gets old.I put my account on hold for 3 months until they get better movies.

No hidden costs and no extra for new releases. I like how they have every ep of a lot of popular shows. I never watched Lost when the show was on TV but got into it last year and was able to watch every episode on Netflix, commercial free. Other shows I love are on there like Buffy, 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order SVU, etc. They have a huge selection and if you rate movies they are pretty good at suggesting other movies you'll like. I think you should get a 30 day free trial, no gimmicks, just put an alarm on your cell or something so you remember when to cancel so you don't get charged. They are also really good about giving you credits and free months if you call to complain about something. (Don't work for them or anything, lol, just really happy with the service).

No hidden charges or extra for new releases..when the new releases come out on dvd u can rent them from netflix but u may have to wait a little bit as other ppl tend to rent out the new releases but its a short wait..now thats if u get the dvds by mail..if u plan on watching netflix off an xbox ps3 or wii thats called instant movies and it takes a lonnnng time for new releases to get on there

Netflix is a good deal; I pay $ 17.00 a month, and always have movies to watch. Can have as many as 3 in my house at any time. I watch about 13 movies a month !

The $8 only gets you streaming video. DVDs in the mail (which is most of your new releases) require more expensive plans. It's worth the price for a couple of months. After that, you will have probably seen most of the content that interests you.
Don't bother giving them any customer feedback. They don't listen.

its $8 a month for 1 dvd by mail. and $8 a month for streaming service.
