Some movies come straight out onto DVD...and never see theaters. Steven Segals last three movies have been that way.

10 to 15 year ago I have to wait 2 year for a movie to come on video. but now some dvd come out after 5 to 7 month.

most movies come out on dvd 3 to 6 months after they run in theaters.

you will start to see movies coming out in three weeks sometimes, for two reasons: one, not making money... two, to get you to buy it before you download it illegally
