Will There be another Indiana Jones movie?

From watching the latest interviews about the next upcoming film, Harrison Ford is getting kinda elderly to be playing in another Jones movie, you be the judge.

George Lucas confirmed in April 2005 at the Star Wars Celebration III that he is in the process of finishing the script for the film.



This film will be the final film in the series, as Lucas stated in the May 2005 issue of Time magazine that he doesn't plan to make any more Indiana Jones films after this one. Steven Spielberg has stated that, in addition to the regular theatrical run, Lucas intends to release Indiana Jones IV in 3D simultaneously.



As for being too old, I don’t know. I guess that depends on the script. Besides, He isn't as old as Sean Connery was when he as in the last film and he did a great job.

Yes, but it will be another 10-20 years, sorta like the newer movies that have been based on '70s TV shows. I think the new Indiana Jones will be Erik per Sullivan.

Yes. It is supposedly due out by 2008 (before Harrison Ford keels over) - its taken so long be cause their script guy sucked, and they had to get someone else. They're tweeking it right now, but Ford can't do it this year cause of other movies he's working on right now.

I heard, not long ago,they're working on one. Ford will likely be in it, or direct it. Personally, I think what he should make is another CIA or cop movie- like Witness and or Independence or even Air Force One.

I read that plans are under way to shoot part four ... but I agree with you, Harrison Ford is getting toooo old!

Yeah, he is getting up there, but i read online that the script has been approved by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas so, it looks like a go...

I agree. He's gettin too old, and his bones probably hurt from laying on top of Calista Flockhart. :))
