You know in the latest Sherlock Holmes movie when they go to that ball near the end of the film, and it takes place at a castle with a big waterfall? Is that castle a real place or was that just some special effects trickery?

Thanks!

The castle was fake, wholly computer generated as were the Reichenbach Falls.

The interiors were not shot at a real castle but on a manufactured set at the Elstree Film Studio in England.
