I love scary movies , i get scared pretty easily , so I want to know what movies are really scary; I'm not really talking about gorey movies , but the kind that make you sleep with the lights on , have someone come into the bathroom with you etc . Here's some movies I've seen:
(That were scary to me)
The Amityville Horror:Scary
The Grudge series(American version):Scary
The Ring:Kinda Scary
Ringu 2: Kinda scary
Orphan:Scary the 1st time
The Orphanage:Scary
Insidious:Scary
Paranormal Activity 2:Some parts were Scary
IT:SCARY(It's the reason I'm afraid of clowns now)
Don't be Afraid of the Dark:Scary(Couldn't sleep for a couple of nights)
Haunted Forest:Scary
Jeepers Creepers:More creepy than Scary
Let Me It:Kinda Scary
Shutter:Scary
Shutter Island:Scary
The Strangers:Scared me alot
House of Wax:Sorta Scary
The Last Exorcism:Not really Scary
The Exorcism of Emily Rose: Not Scary
The Hills Have Eyes(Only 10 minutes about):Kinda scary out of what I saw
The House on Haunted Hill:Not Scary

Plus there are alot more , but I can't remember all of them right now; I do get scared easily , as you can probably see because most of these were scary to me .

I would say the scariest movies ever are:

1) The Shining (1980)

2) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

3) The Exorcist (1973)

4) Rosemary's Baby (1968)

5) Night of the Living Dead (1968)

There's something about a lot of late 60's & 70's horror movies that I find genuinely scary. The scariest films I've seen in the last couple of years is A Tale of Two Sisters.

Not all of these are scary, but here's my top 100 horror movies list:

my top 5

1) The Shining (the 1980 original)

2) Rosemary's Baby

3) The Haunting (the 1963 original)

Watch a Spanish horror film called [REC]. The movie Quarantine was based off the Spanish version. It's pretty damn creepy and kept me up for days. The Scream trilogy is a good one, it's not scary, but has some good suspense and some thrills, and clever twists.

i like the ultimate is the unique one, frightening action picture a million... it is so humorous as hell... however the worst might actually be frightening action picture 3, the action picture became a million hour 20 minutes yet then I felt so quickly that this is in simple terms like 40 minutes of filming...
