i used to be like that, but two things happened

-i grew up and realized that the scenes in the movie are shot in a studio in broad daylight

-the horror film genre was flushed down the toilet when unoriginal, stale, played out films like the uninvited, the unborn and the the haunting in connecticut come out

Most media is just a diversion; a diversion self-imposed, or directed by those with too much control over what others see. Every time I even THINK of those movies anymore I think of Bruce Carroll's song "Elm Street" "And it's 90 mindless minutes of the best in blood and gore They all come out laughing, just can't wait for more. While on the other side of town a child 4 years of age huddles up a weak defense against his fathers rage and as we spend our time and money on Life's Moments Cheapest Thrills In our city there's an Elm Street where the nightmare is real."

Well considering the point of a horror movie is to scare you, I would guess many people are scared after it's done. It's very simple: Horror movies may be good, but if you're going to hate it later, don't watch it.

I'm scared of them but when I see a preview for it I wanna see it! BUT lol when I get home that night it's stuck in my head and I try to stay out of the dark lmao, seriously. So yea I'm the same way, hehe.

Not me, but I do love horror films. Fear is one of our strongest emotions, I guess that's why it lingers with some people longer. But there's nothing wrong with that. Just enjoy the movies:)

Being scared stiff even after the movie is the best part.

I agree with the first answerer, once you're mature, that will all go away.
