Does anyone know if there is going to be a Star Trek Voyager movie?

I was just wondering, there have been several TNG movies, I was just wondering if there will be any Voyager, DS9 or Enterprise movies. Does anyone know?

But sadly, no.



Actually, someone once posted an online petition that has gathered over 4000 signatures but it is quite out of date (started 5 months after the end of the 7th season), but it goes to show how loyal the fans are. http://www.petitiononline.com/st0v0y/petition.html



However, Christine Golden, an author that has written many ST novels as well as for the various ST series, has published a couple of novels post "Endgame".



A publishing "relaunch" - which features stories placed after the end of Star Trek: Voyager was planned by Paramount. The novels take place after the series' conclusion. Several characters are reassigned while others are promoted but stay aboard Voyager; these changes include Janeway's promotion to admiral and Chakotay becoming captain of Voyager. The series also introduces several new characters.



The series began with Homecoming and The Farther Shore in 2003 (by Christine Golden), a direct sequel to the show's final, "Endgame". These were followed in 2004 by Spirit Walk: Old Wounds and Spirit Walk: Enemy of My Enemy. Other novels -- some set during the relaunch period, others during the show's TV run -- have been published.



It would be awesome if they could take the first two novels and produce a movie out of it...all us trekkie fans dearly miss the camaraderie of the Voyager characters and would love to see them again!

I think the Next Generation movies covered the 3 series from that time frame. So unfortunately there won't be any DS9 or Voyager movies. As for Enterprise, they are covering that era of the Star Trek universe with the new Star Trek movie coming out summer 2009.

The new Star Trek movie is based on the young Kirk and Spock et al. It was initially due for release Christmas this year but now has been put back for the spring/summer next year. The cast has a few familiar faces eg Simon Pegg as Scotty!!!

I'd love to see a Voyager movie but I very much doubt it will ever be made and if it does it won't have those familiar faces that we know and love in it.

I would absolutely love to see a Voyager movie. I am not a trekkie in the traditional sense, but I absolutely loved the Voyager series. I watch it faithfully ever day on Spike and I still enjoy it as much as I did before.

There is a new star trek movie coming out soonish not sure which series it will be based on though
