Do you think they will always be making reboots of these superhero movies like the main heros like superman, batman and spiderman. For example WB is already discussing a batman reboot to fit for the Justice League film set for 2013 if it ever goes through, and Nolan hasn't even finished batman 3 for his amazing trilogy!. But what im trying to say is will their always be reboots of these kinds of movies at least in the next 100 years. So that in the way future about 60 years their will be about 20 different batman franchises? You get what im saying? will they eventually stop cuz i wish they wont make anymore batman movies after nolan!

Yes, I heard that about the next Batman series, too. I know nobody could ever beat Nolan's Batman, but I don't mind that they're making another one. I'd still totally see it. :)

I'm guessing the whole super hero franchise will probably boil down in the next few decades; it's just a fad now, like vampires. But it'll never completely die out; there have been so many Batman films up to this point, and I don't see why they'd stop.

But I'd be willing to bet that DC is only making a Justice League movie in competition with Marvel's Avengers movie. After those movies are done, I think that the super hero flicks will die down a little. They're just trying to have a bunch of individual super hero films out quickly, so that when the Avengers/Justice League movies come out, people won't be so confused by the various characters. Personally, I love super heroes, though, so I don't mind. :)

Nolan's Batman takes a new perspective on Batman and his life. Because of the time in between the last Batman movie and this one it's good. The audience wanted something new they got it. Superman? The reboots are just killing it. At the end of the day he lives and the directors are trying to make that crucial point grim and heart popping like Batman, Superman is basically another fairytale. Spiderman, new reboots coming out next year. The old Spiderman franchise couldn't keep on going forever and it had virtually no range like X-men. Spiderman 4 would have been a bit too "cliched" so now a new one is being made rebooting the story. Take King Kong though. It gives a good message the longer the time in between an original and reboot the much better. Look at the Hulk, Captain America and the line of success continue.

I think it is pretty safe to assume that every generation will get their remake of these super heroes in both the small and big screen.
