So will the movie Twilight be in the 2009 movie awards?

I'm not understanding. Is the movie gonna be in the 2009 movie awards or did it already past in 2008?

I would check out MTV Movie Awards for 2009....I think you will see some nominations from MTV since they have been keep tracking of what is going on with the movie. Also the cast was at the 2008 show to promote the movie. Also check out www.twilighters.com and some of the other popular website....to find out more.

although I am a twilight fan, I seriously doubt that it will be nominated for any type of awards. There was nothing particularly special about any of the acting nor was there anything that was done in way of cinematography to make it stand out from other films. Actually some of the effects were really horrific, such as the directors inability to decide on one specific way to show how they ran. it was done 3-4 different ways. Horrible. and Robs sheer good looks and the fact that he is playing our beloved Edward is not enough to get him an award no matter how loud we scream for it!!

Twilight should do well at the MTV Awards as they are aimed at the fan girls. I doubt that Twilight will get awards from any other organization, although stranger things have happened.



Prince won an Academy Award back in the 1980's which NO ONE thought would happen.

i dont really know bc there were some movies that came out after twilight like benjamin button and revolutionary road . i think that no one nominated it for an award . they probably didnt recognize it bc its just a "teen movie" it sucks bc i really wanted them to win an award . but maybe new moon will win something soon (: mtv also has been keeping up with the twilight saga so maybe they can win something on the mtv movie awards !

No, it came out in 2008, but wasn't nominated for anything. Don't listen to meanies like Paperbag that put down Twilight and it's fans...it's not just for teens, it's not just a fad and it's quite enjoyable for many people! I loved it and the books and so did my mother. I'm 35, so it's not just a teen fad. It just didn't get nominated because usually those films are more dramatic or prestigious in other ways. Boy, is he mean!
