Ok, So In Sweeney Todd, During "Poor Thing" How Come Sweeney Suddenly yells Out "No! Would No One Have Mercy On Her?" What does Mrs. Lovett sing that ticks him off? What is happening to his wife when she goes to the party and everyone is in her face? Im Confused!

Towards the end of the song she refers to what Judge Turpin did to his wife. He raped her, and "all of them stood there and laughed". That's what happened at the party. He was horrified that that had happened to his wife, which is why he cut her off.
