2. Ferris Bueller's Day Off - this movie always makes me feel good after I watch it. It's funny, it's romantic, it's idealism at it's finest, and there are so many memorable quotes



3. Slumdog Millionaire - a story of tragedy, triumph, love and suffering, with a brilliant soundtrack



4. Wall-E - one of the best animated films of all time, in my opinion, because of how unique it is, how funny and touching, with a lot of heart and an intelligent message too



5. Fight Club - genius storytelling based on the brilliant book by Chuck Palahniuk, great acting from Ed Norton and Brad Pitt



6. Into the Wild - one of the most thought-provoking, heartfelt films I've seen with a breathtaking performance by Emile Hirsch, and tells the remarkable true story of a young man in search for the meaning of life in the Alaskan wilderness



7.The Matrix - this film set the bar way high for the way science fiction movies are filmed. It is by far the most successful science fiction franchise, second only to Star Wars, maybe.



8. Indiana Jones films - the best action adventure franchise. Ever, I can say with great conviction, because of how influential and iconic it is.



9. Funny Face - such a fun Audrey Hepburn movie with the amazingly talented Fred Astaire. A classic that is just unmissable!



10. Gladiator - great performance from Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix, and packed with intensity

4) I Am Legend (This one might not be entirely appropriate, it's very very scary, but it's a great movie)
