i'm not sure, but the longest movie i am aware of it "greed" 1924. it was over 10 hours. naturally, the studio chopped the heck out of it against the director's wishes and it was released at about 2 and a half hours. most of it has been lost, but there is a restored version that is 4 hours long. ive only seen the 2 and a half hour version.
