choices of his career?

The role he was offered in The Godfather was very small. It probably wouldn't have done much, if anything for his career. It also means he wouldn't have gotten his (arguably breakthrough) role in The Godfather, Pt. II.

Also, Bang The Drum Slowly is adored by everyone who has seen it. It is widely considered the greatest baseball movie of all-time, notably by Roger Ebert.

Even though it was considered a bad decision at the time, I think it was one of the best choices De Niro has ever made.

BQ: What do you think of Bang The Drum Slowly?

BQ2: Did you know that it's Al Pacino's favorite movie? That surprised me a lot.

BQ3: Have you seen Tom DiCillo's 2009 award-winning documentary "When You're Strange", all about the doors, and narrated by Johnny Depp?

BQ4: What's going to be more overrated when it comes out, The Avengers or The Dark Knight Rises?

BQ5: Have you ever thought about auditioning for a movie? I had a conversation with somebody who is an extra in Moonrise Kingdom today. He was telling me all about meeting Wes Anderson, and a little bit about what he gathered about the film from his scenes.

Optional BQ: What are De Niro's top 10 non-Scorsese films?

probably the best bad decision ever. if that makes sense, glad it happened though

BQ- a masterpiece, and my favorite baseball film, and arguably De Niro's best performance, and the reason he was in Mean Streets I think

BQ2- wow I had no idea. that's awesome

BQ3- nope. is that the guy that directed Win Win? if so I'll check it out. on a side note I've heard good things about a doc called "The Cruise" directed by Bennett Miller. it's one of Eddy Norton's favs

BQ4- that's tough. TDKR will probably be in the top 5 on IMDB for a few months so i gotta go with that

BQ5- lol not really. some scenes from Righteous Kill were shot the town over from where I live, literally five minutes away. but that was three years ago and I would've had no idea of how i would go about auditioning to be an extra

optional:

Godfather 2

Deer Hunter

Once Upon A Time in America

A Bronx Tale

Brazil

The Untouchables

Heat

The Mission

Sleepers

I have no longer noticeable his very early classics, so my fav’s so as could be warmth, the ranking, and nighttime run. ballot : Al Pacino. When I used to be little, I watched "Scent of a Woman" with my peers. I honestly concept Al Pacino used to be blind! He is a extremely good actor.
