Whats a really good sad film?

Question

I have a friend who can't cry at films, and she really wants to though, so we arranged a movie night of sad films, but what really sad films are their out there to cry at? I want to start her off with a really emotional film, but the one thing she asked for was the romantic type of sad films. Im into them aswell, but I'm stumped for ideas.

watch Pay it Forward. it's highly emotional and the end is heartbreaking and there's a bit of romance too, although this is not the focus of the film. i cried absolute buckets at this film.
