The movie "Girl Interrupted"?

Question

Did Lisa (Angelina Jolie) somehow think of Susanna as her "surrogate" best friend or something? I remember in the beginning Lisa freaks out b/c her best friend "Jamie" killed herself. Then when they run away Lisa calls Susanna "Jamie" & Susanna says "But I'm Susannna".

Another question was Lisa planning on killing herself or Susanna in the very end when Lisa had that huge needle? I remember her about to shoot herself up & another patient says "don't". As much as I've seen this movie there are bits & pieces i don't understand. Thanks!

i think lisa did think suzanna as jamie.

and i think after what suzanna said,something about your already dead,made her mad,i thought she was going to kill herself.



i don't know if that's right.

I think she was but I think i rememebr inthe movie that wehn susanna was talking about lisa to someone they said she was in it for the attention. as for the needle thing.



I think she was trying to find her friend in susanna I have to watch it again and pay better attention to it.

Yes, I think she was thinking of her as her 'surrogate' best friend. Definately a void filler. I don't think she was going to kill herself, she was just so unstable. It's a great movie, watch it again!

I don't remember those parts. I remember them running away and the very end, but I don't remember them saying anything like that. I'd have to watch it again.
