so i watched this LOTR movie again and as i reached the scene where witch king heir to the dark lord himself gets killed at the hands of a not very professional woman, witch king was a great wizard before becoming a wraith and afterwards he became even more powerful...so what i wonder is whether this scene is depicted in the books or not,if so i should really doubt tolkien's skills

The scene is much better in the books and has an increased drama and tension as Eowyn fulfills prophecy. The whole idea is that the witch king CANNOT DIE BY THE HAND OF MAN, or did you miss that bit?

The movie version of the scene is disappointed; over too quite and the Nazgul shrivelling up like a piece of bacon on the grill....

Wow. Youre the only person ive ever heard take that position. Not sure if youre trolling, but yes, that scene is in the book. A rohan princess trained in sword fighting did indeed kill the murdering monster who had been a human before he was tormented and enslaved by sauren.

Well, troll or whatever, you should doubt a lot more than Tolkien's righteously appropriate taking down of someone who chose the dark side...
