What did you think of X-men: The Last Stand? I actually liked it. From what I have heard, either people really liked it or really hated it. The people that liked it thought it told a good story and had really good special effects. On the other hand, people thought it was campy like Batman Forever and Superman III. They said it had poor character development and lack of emotion. They claim the dialouge was weak and use an example of poor dialouge like:
President: Hell hath no fury like a woman's breasts".
It was campier than the first two but it had really good special effects and the story was good even though there was not enough emotion and character development. I hope there will be an X-men 4 and if there is I hope it will break the 4th film curse.

I think what makes "the last stand" the best of the trilogy, is that it focuses on the "essence" of X-Men: that there are no good guys and bad guys. There are different sides and you choose which one to support. The weak boundaries between right and wrong is what makes the plot superior and intellectual. you can understand the motives behind the actions of everybody, and you can see how Magneto, for example, appreciates the spirit and the just cause that Xavier was fighting for, and at the same time, disagrees with his opinion. This immediately conveys strength in how characters believe in their missions and lead their people accordingly.

In short, I am one of the people who think it is a great movie and I wish that we can see more of X Men

I loved it! Saw it twice! I thought it was the best of the XMen flicks so far. (The 2nd film, according to me was bs.) The effects of The Last Stand were great & it had a great story. Yes, some characters weren't given their due. I didn't like the fact that Mystique was 1 of the 1st mutants to be cured cos it's just such fun to see the blue chick (pun unintended) morphinng all the time.

Plus there wasn't much of Multiple Man (except till the end some where) & many others. Hopefully they'll be in the 4th one (if the rumours of the 4th one are true).

Also the climax as my friend pointed out was also a bit of a let down. He wondered why Leech couldn't come closer to Pheonix instead of taking him away. He felt it would've lessened her wrath a bit & she wouln't have had to be killed in the end after all. I however disagreed at first (agreed after seeing the film the 2nd time) becos she could've blown Leech to pieces too, right?

Anyway, all in all my rating for the film is 8/10. On an after-thought, wasn't the mystique action sequence with the cops (where she somersaults over the table) amazing?!

I really enjoyed it. I thought it was better than Part 1 but not as good as Part 2. Somethings I didn't like about it though 1) Cyclops got fobbed over again. I don't even know why they bothered putting him the movies. They gave him nothing to do. 2) Famke Jensen. When she "died" at the end of Part 2 I was cheering because we wouldn't have to put up with her anymore. Then I heard they were doing the Phoenix storyline (which they butchered) I was bummed. The woman can't act to save her life. 3) Juggernaut. Through out all his years in the comics he has been one of the big bad asses! Yet, they get Vinnie Jones to play him. They guy is the worst actor on the planet. He is so monotone that he makes Clive Owen sound good.

Other than that, I thought the film rocked. Wolverine was the star , Non stop action, great effects, concluding the story yet leaving it open for another one.

human beings say that's the final movie yet its not genuine!!! They have been already making a 4th one on the same time via fact the third. And to boot that, their score would drop in the event that they left the third with that ending. And on suited of all that, there are any such super form of tricks interior the movie and in case you observed the top credit they confirmed that the would be. And it wasn't meant to be ethier, they only needed greater human beings to observe it!
