Who had the best beard in film?
?

Al Pacino in 'Carlito's Way'?
'Star Wars' had Alec Guinness as Obi Wan and possibly my favourite Ewan McGregor as young Obi Wan.
Kevin Smith as Silent Bob?
Ian McKellen as Gandalf, or even Gimli?
Harrison Ford had a white tufty affair in 'The Fugitive'

So that's just a few that come to mind, any suggestions for the best looking beards in film?

PS - No TV beards please, we have to have some standards in questions of this importance.

Kevin Smith as Silent Bob is a great beard choice!

I loved Ryan Reynolds' in 'The Amityville Horror'. His six-pack and amazing beard were the two reasons why I loved him :) although his love for cutting wooden logs shirtless also helped.

BEST EVER is R.J. MacReady (Kurt Russell) in 'The Thing'. He rocked so badly in that movie!

The little Chinese man who teaches Uma Thurman how to punch a hole through the wall in 'Kill Bill Volume 2' also had a mental, long white beard...that should be on the list :)
