What does anyone know about the dark knight rises trailer?

the dark knight rises trailer premiered in the harry potter movie and i want people to tell me about it. who were the villains involved, any plot line ideas, anything about the upcoming movie is the info i want. and also id like to hear your personal opinions

The Villian was Bane and the Chief was in the hospital talking to batman.

I was sort of disappointed of the teaser trailer, but I still have high hopes for the film. Since the film will have Catwoman and Bane, the story might be based on certain storylines from the comics:



Dark Victory - A new District Attorney will lead the charge in capturing and arresting Batman, but the DA may have an allegiance with a villain, possibly Bane.



Knightfall - Bane first appears in this storyline. He famously breaks Batman's back, and the end of the story had Batman create the Bat-family, his group of allies that will aid in times of need.



Over the Edge - Not a comic story, but a episode from the 90s Batman animated series. When Gordon's daughter, who was Batgirl, dies, he blames Batman for her death. He then learns Bruce Wayne is Batman, and leads a police force to Wayne Manor (I assume the Manor is rebuilt in Dark Knight Rises). When Bruce escapes, Gordon hires Bane to chase Batman down.

The Dark Knight Rises starts of showing clips from Batman Begins showing Wayne's Journey to the league of shadows and then over coming his fear of bats to become the Batman. While these clips are playing a quote by Ra's Al Gul (played by Liam Neeson) is played over them. The conversation he had with Bruce Wayne in the prison cell about becoming more than just a man, but a legend. We then go to Gordon who's lying in a hospital bed holding an oxygen mask. Gordon is in hospital for smoke inhalation after Bane sets fire to a building that Gordon and SWAT officers are in. Gordon barely escapes. Bruce Wayne has hung up the cape and cowl prior and goes to the hospital in his Lamborginhi as Bruce Wayne and before entering puts on a black face mask which leads to a fight with a Police Officer. Gordon and Bruce talk about Batman having to come back as a new evil (Bane) is 'rising'. Bruce tells Gordon that he's not sure if Batman even exists anymore. After the conversation the music jolts and we get a first look at Bane's face! This is Bane's first scene in Gotham and is when he arrives via boat at Gotham Docks. He and his goons take out the security guards and the one Bane takes out he leans over which is the screen close up of his face. We then get the Batman logo breaking through the screen and shortly after we see Batman backing away with haste, only to see half of Bane's body walk into frame! That is actually the climax battle where Bane has lured Batman to their lair for a final showdown and is in a warehouse near the docks I believe. Batman initially battles dozens of goons before Bane shows himself not scared of a fight and wants it 1 on 1. Catwoman actually arrives and assists Batman in defeating Bane and helping him escape. Catwoman fights goons while Batman battles Bane in a brutal battle. I'm told it gets really brutal and Bane IS taller or at least the same size as Batman even tough in real life Tom Hardy is smaller than Bale. During the climax battle, Bane is wearing a bulletproof vest which I think he rips off during the fight and wears it on more than one occasion during the film. 



The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christan Bale

Also this trailer showed Bane and Batman but Catwoman was not present in the trailer and seeing as it seems she will play a huge role right up until the end of the film there might possibly be a second teaser trailer but I'm sure all will be revealed in the official movie trailer which they should release near christmas time?

It was hard to hear what was going on with all the people making noise, but here's what I made out. The main bad guys are Bane and Cat woman. commissioner Gordan is either sick, or injured. Bane is going to kick batman's ***, probably break his spine. And that's all I've heard.
