How Would You Rank All the Stanley Kubrick Films You've Seen from Best to Worst?

I'm slowly getting my Kubrick game up. I've seen 2001, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, and I'm in the processing of finishing A Clockwork Orange (which is kind of hard to get into). I'm about to watch Eyes Wide Shut. I might watch Dr. Strangelove soon if it's available to my access.

I have seen almost all of Kubrick films and i would have to say his number one film with a shadow of a doubt is 2001: A Space Odyssey, there is nothing greater in my personal opinion. The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove and Paths of Glory are all on a level par for me, i think each is good in its own way with none being better than others. Next down would be Lolita. Spartacus, Fear and Desire and my least favourites are Eyes Wide Shut and Barry Lyndon - while both still impressive, I havent watched them since.



I haven't seen The Killing, Killers Kiss of the Seafarers and i think his very first films, although excellent, cannot be grouped together with his features.



Kubrick is my top Director.
