is the movie 'The Lovely Bones' scary?

i really want to go see the movie, it looks really good! i get really scared when i watch horror movies- there was only 2 horror movies i never got scared of: 'The Shinning' and 'House of 1000 Corpse'. if i can watch those movies and not be scared would i be able to go see 'The Lovely Bones'?

Don't worry it isn't scary I am a total scary cat! but it does have some intense parts and weird too but nothing scary I promise, don't worry if there is a suspense song coming nothing scary will pop or show up!

NO, absolutely not! It is not a horror film, it's a drama. It doesn't focus about the girl's murder, it focuses on her and her family in the struggle of moving on afterwards. It is a beautiful movie that will make you cry and you'll want to see it more than once.

It's not really a horror movie. It's basically just about the girl who gets killed and she's telling the story.

There might be on nasty scene in there, though. I haven't seen it but I read the book.
