Question:
What's that song in the Wizard of Oz during the tornado scene?

I'm looking for the name of the song that is purely orchastra (no voices) when Dorothy is flying in the tornado. It is when she sees the witch and the music sounds like:
duh, duh, duh, Duh, duh, duh
And sounds like that classical song about the fast-buzzing bees. Ring a bell anyone? What is it called?

That piece of music is indeed called "Cyclone". While Harold Arlen composed the songs in Wizard of Oz, the songs with lyrics, it's hard to know who composed the incidental music like that piece -- it's either George Bassman, George Stoll, or

Herbert Stothart.

But anyway you can buy the full W/Oz soundtrack on Amazon or elsewhere.

I believe it's just part of the score and was written for the film and done by an orchestra. References to it just comment that composer Herbert Stothart used Arlen's themes (Arlen comprised much of the vocal songs for the film) and some of his own for the score.

I know what you're referring to, but isn't it a shame that I can't think of the name of that song and "The Wizard of Oz" is my favorite movie!?!? lol!!

It's not "Flight of the Bumblebee." I think it was written for the film. Good question.
