I love them both, but aren't they over rated!

they can act great, and stuffs, but most of the time what irritates me is that, they always be the first reconsideration or always on top of director's choice!

Ex: Johnny depp for Dark shadows, Sin city 3 and now new Batman movie, for mad hat or whatever it is.

Jolie, For new cat women or Sin city 2 or even, A mighty heart? i like her in MTH, but i think it should went to J. Aniston, she would be better!

Your opinion? and which actor again are over rated??

Angelina Jolie is definitely overrated!!

plus what with all the kids shes having shes starting to look a bit rough around the edges. I know most ppl love her for Tomb Raider and the one she did with Brad pitt (cant remember the name) but I liked neither film she did and I cant honestly think of ANY film shes done that I like!

Johnny Depp however......

He`s not my fave looking wise but he is one of the best damn actors around at the moment!!

I`m not a massive fan but his film repertoire is unparallelled!! he has turned his hand to many different films and characters and failed in very few!!

I cant think of many overrated actors because there are so many new ones popping up all the time!

I much prefer the golden oldies like Sean connery, pierce brosnan, kate winslet and rachel weiz. Which reminds me, I DO hate Daniel Craig as James Bond. It`s like he is a completly diff character!!

I'm not exceptionally familiar with Angelina Jolie's work, but I am so with Johnny Depp's, and I certainly don't think that he is overrated. Every role that he takes, he brings something to it that makes that performance memorable. He is easily of the most versatile actors of today and can play -- and play quite well -- more or less any type of role. He's played such differing types of characters, both fictional (i.e. Edward Scissorhands, Mort Rainey in SECRET WINDOW, Ichabod Crane, Willy Wonka, etc) and real-life (i.e. George Jung in BLOW, Ed Wood in ED WOOD, John Wilmot in THE LIBERTINE, Inspector Frederick Abberline in FROM HELL, etc), and in each performance, he has portrayed the character in a way that very few actors would be able to. I fully think that all the praise and accolades that he receives are warranted.

No...

Some roles are meant for Johnny depp

If the directors see him fit for it then thers no doubt about it....

I cant imagine any other actors for playing the role of jack in "pirates of...."

and that of sweeny todd...

If the directors want someone who goes well with dark humor (sin city 3),

depp is certainly the choice....

As for batman movie, He would be playing the role of Riddler...

(again dark humour)

But i do think Jolie is overrated....

i've got already met Stephen Colbert and Conan O'Brien... so who i might opt to fulfill is: a million) Conan O'Brien (first time did no longer relatively matter extensive style for me, using fact we only exchanged a pair words) 2) Jon Stewart
