I love most of them but Dr Strangelove is the all time favourite. Sellers was brilliant as the doctor (I loved the hand with a mind of its own). And Chill Wills riding the bomb has to be one of the best scenes ever.

Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket are a tie for me.

Spoken with a smile and sarcasm to the camera

Private Joker:

"I wanted to visit Viet Nam, the jewel of the south pacific.

I wanted to meet interesting and exotic people... and kill them.

I wanted to be the first one on my block with a confirmed kill!"

__________

Captain: "Whats this! A peace sign on one side of your helmet and "born to kill" on the other. Is that some kind of a sick joke!"

Private Joker: I'm not sure sir.

Capn: "You better get your head and your *** wired together or I WILL take one gigantic Sh#t on you!"

Joker: I guess I was making a comment on the duality of man, sir. You know, the "Jungian" thing.

Private Joker: You killed running women and children?! But how can you kill women and children?

Copter gunner: It's easy, you just don't lead 'em too much. ha, HA! Aint war hell!

Private Joker: the dead know only one thing.... It is better to be alive.

___________

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Today... is Christmas! There will be a magic show at zero-nine-thirty! Chaplain Charlie will tell you about how the free world will conquer Communism with the aid of God and a few Marines! God has a hard-on for Marines because we kill everything we see! He plays His games, we play ours! To show our appreciation for so much power, we keep heaven packed with fresh souls! God was here before the Marine Corps! So you can give your heart to Jesus, but your *** belongs to the Corps! Do you ladies understand?

Man, that movie has enough quotes to keep going all day. in fact I think I will go watch it again for the 12th time tonight - got it on DVD.

It's a three way tie between ''The Killing'', ''Paths Of Glory'', and ''Dr.Strangelove''.

''The Killing''

By far my absolute favorite film noir of all time. And it's probably Kubrick's greatest directed film.

''Paths of Glory''

It hasn't aged very well, but it still one hell of an anti-war film, with an awesome performance by Kirk Douglas, and an unforrgetable and emotional ending.

''Dr.Strangelove'' part of my very exclusive Top 5 club. An amazing black, black comedy, with the ever so versatile Peter Sellers playing an amazing 3 roles in this film, and an awesome performance by George C Scott, which I consider his best.
