Hi guys,

Another movie question.

Does anyone know why Jarda tried to kill Bourne?

Also, does Bourne know why Jarda tried to kill him?

Treadstone was shutdown, so the CIA couldn't have recruited Jarda to kill Bourne. However, Jarda was obviously still in the business since we were shown some passports and stacks of cash in his house (on the table, Bourne looks through them briefly).

Jarda is the guy Bourne kills in his own house by strangulation with a power cord.

Thanks

Arriving in Naples, Italy, Bourne deliberately uses a known passport under his name. Agents in Langley are notified of Bourne's arrival, and he is detained. He incapacitates an Italian Carabinieri officer and his CIA interrogator, copies the agent's SIM card on his own cell phone, then escapes. Bourne listens in on a call from Landy, learning her name, phone number, and that he is suspected of the recent killings in Berlin. He steals a car and heads to Germany. In Munich, he breaks into another Treadstone agent's house. Upon arrival, the agent, Jarda, tells him Treadstone was shut down following Conklin's death; he and Bourne are the only remnants of the project. As Bourne realizes Jarda has called in backup, Jarda attacks, the two struggle, and Bourne kills Jarda. Bourne sets a trap by opening a gas line and jamming a magazine into a toaster; the home explodes when backup arrives.

hope this helps some..

Munich is a huge town with: restaurant, nightlife and accommodation entries, with hotelbye , you'll have a look. Munich may be the capital town of Bavaria and the third-most populous city in Germany. For ages the seat of the Dukes, Electors, and Leaders of Bavaria, the Munich Residenz is undoubtedly certainly one of Europe's many spectacular palaces. Presented about eight large courts, the vast resident complex comprises three major parts: the Königsbau, fronting into Max-Joseph-Platz; the Alte Residenz, experiencing Residenzstrasse; and the Festsaalbau (Banqueting Hall) overlooking the Hofgarten. The first area of the big complicated to be created was the superb Antiquarium, built in 1579 and today part of the exceptional Residenz Museum. Munich is just a city with plenty of record, be sure to discover it whole.

Oh yes. I know one place. It is right next to the highway at the former checkpoint bravo. It's not exactly in Zehlendorf. It's more Kleinmachnow or even Stahnsdorf. It's the scene where he stops on a parking station at night when reaching Berlin.
