I went to see the new Les Miserables film at the cinema on Sunday. It was my first time experencing Les Miserables and I thought it was utterly fantastic! Has anybody else seen it yet? I thought the children (Young Cousette and the boy near the end who has blonde curly hair... you know the one) were fantastic, as well as all the main actors and actresses. Music was fantastic. I didn't even realise it was all sung!

The movie was nothing short of incredible and moving and beautiful. I love the stellar cast, the acting, the score, the portrayal of French history and its streets as well as war, everything. Every minute of the film was emotionally powerful and kept me engaged. Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman's characters were my absolute favourites. Just when I thought the film couldn't get better, it wraps with an ending so perfect, I don't even have the right words to describe it.

Definitely one of the few films of 2012 that actually made an impression on me. We think of France and Paris as some glam holiday destination, never knowing its history or the people on the streets, the poverty (which I believe still exists today), beggars, prostitutes, etc. I guess the film gave me insight into the poor people of France and how cruel/callous war can be. Children and the innocent are killed everyday but very few people remember them. There are those that fought bravely and died for what they believed in.

It was PHENOMENAL!!!! I saw it the day it came out & I am DEFINITELY going to see it again!!!!!!! Anne Hathaway broke my heart!!! Her scenes were so gut-wrenching & difficult to watch, yet I couldn't look away! & I full out cried for the last 10 minutes. Hugh Jackman absolutely blew me away with his amazing, emotional, heart-breaking performance. He IS Jean Val Jean. NO ONE else could've played that part in this film & he far exceeded my expectations. I think he is an extremely underrated actor because of all the Wolverine films. Les Mis reminded me (& will remind everyone else) that he is so much more than Wolverine. He is an exceptionally talented actor & should win all awards for his beautiful Les Mis performance!! & yes, young Cosette & Gavroche were incredible; I think they're going to be the next big child actors!

it is robust. that is extra emotionally concerning than the musical and it explains the story extra useful. additionally the characters are extra 3 dimensional then the musical. Its a sprint long yet, yeah, a ought to make certain. I observed it final night and function been singing all of it day.

It makes Hugh Jackman very soft. Makes him look very weak.
