A .xspf file is a playlist file. You can open it with VLC. Download it here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/



I suggest you right click on the file and check its properties, see in what format it was originally done. If it is DivX, then make a backup of the file and change the other's extention to .avi If it is MPEG, change the extention to .mpg



If this works, you can then just burn the file or files to a DVDr disc and watch them on your TV DVD player - if your DVD player support MPEG or DivX.



If it is indeed a DivX or mpg file and your TV DVD player does not support the format, then you must convert the file to .vob files - the normal DVD format. To know how to do that go to: http://www.dvdcopyplanet.com
