Why is Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp always in Tim Burton movies?

Sweeney Todd directed by Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter is in it, The Corpse Bride directed by Tim Burton has Helena Bonham Carter in it, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (2005) directed by Tim Burton also has Helena Bonham Carter in it and I'm sure there's more. The same thing goes for Johnny Depp he was also in Sweeney Todd, The Corpse Bride, and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (2005). Johnny Depp is also in Edward Scissorhands and Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. I've noticed this and I'm curious as to why these two are always particularly in his movies.

Because Helena Bonham Carter is married to Tim Burton, and both are good friends with Johnny Depp. And all 3 of them are good at creepy. lol!

Yes. Helena is married to Tim Burton. Johnny Depp is extremely close to Tim so he gets cast in Tim's movies. I've read that they both understand eachother so well and have the same taste. If you notice Johnny never kisses Helena and never will. He has said he respects Tim too much to do that.

well helena bonham carter IS married to tim burton. and plus tim burton's movies are always twisted and dark. helena fits the description twisted and dark. and johnny does play a very good twisted and dark characters! and he is great friends with tim and his wife helena. so...i would say just enjoy them! cause i love it when they do movies together!! i want to be in a movie directed by tim burton and co-starring along side helena and johnny!!! =)

because Tim Burton has a crush on them. not uncommon to have directors that use the same actors in several of his/her movies.
